Associates in Arabic & Islamic Studies
Become a serious student of Sacred Knowledge by studying Arabic grammar, morphology, and classical texts in our 3-hour weekly classes held in person on Tuesday evenings. Students are placed into the appropriate level based on a placement assessment.
Prophetic Guidance
This 2-year Program is an opportunity to formally study all the knowledge required for every believer to know. Open to ages 17+, Sundays, in-person.
Gatherings
Join our weekly and monthly communal gatherings of remembrance. These sessions include The Remembrance of Allah ﷻ, Sending Praise upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and short lessons by our scholars.
Tanwir Institute’s mission is to serve the DMV Muslim community with an environment of sacred knowledge, devotion, and service by providing a worship space and educational institute which includes full-time, part-time, youth, and community programming.
